Welcome To Bolognaville!

The Royal Race for the crown is on and Yale is now offically turned into "Bolognaville" for 2010. That's right, the 22nd Yale Bologna Festival is only a few short days away and we are hoping to welcome you where we proclaim "We're Full of Bologna and Proud Of It!".

The stage is set for some wonderful entertainment this year. You won't want to miss any of it! Make sure you are here on Friday night for the crowning of our new 2010 Yale Bologna King and Queen and Prince and Princess Hot Dog. The fabulous foursome of Nick Barg, Heather Reno, Tyler Scott and Darla Wierszewski have been working very hard to raise funds at 1¢ a vote to see who will take home the crown. The proceeds that they raise help offset the $60,000 in stage entertainment, bands, parade music, games and so much more that the Yale Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors each year. We could not offer this quality festival entertainment, at no cost to you, without their hard work. Please give them a Royal Thank You when you see them over the weekend.

Speaking of sponsors, our faithful businesses and friends have stepped up once again to help us this year their names can be found right here on our homepage. Please do business locally and support them. They are what make our small town great!

So, make your plans to be part of a royally great time here in Yale "Bolognaville". I hope to see you at one of our family fun events. From the fantastic Fireworks to our Outhouse Races, Goofy Golf Cart Parade, Children's activities, Big Time Wrestling, Alumni Games, Big Bologna Parade, Boy Scout Car Show, Pancake Breakfast and Cardboard Boat Races there is something for all ages to enjoy.

One last note of thanks to our 100+ volunteers who come together to create an unbelievable weekend for you. A specail pat on the back to Kim Mitchell, owner of Yale Flower Shop, who is our 2010 Festival Coordinator. Please treat them while you are here in the royal mamer that they so deserve.
